Our multi-day/week programs offer an excellent learning environment for kids of all ages and riding abilities. Snowbowl snow sports school instructors are enthusiastic and know how to make lessons fun and safe while developing skiing and riding skills The three-day Christmas Club is for kids seven and up and is the first program of the winter, running from December 27 through 29. It is an excellent “warm-up” for the season and our six-week programs. Prior to the start of the six-week programs, we will again have two free introduction and orientation days on the weekend of January 5th and 6th (described in more detail below). The six-week programs will start on Saturday, January 12 and Sunday, January 13 and run through the weekends until February 23 and 24. The six-week program will include one make up day at the end of the session. Sorry there are no refunds for missed lessons. Little Rippers will be morning only from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. and Team Extreme and Board Heads will be offered as half day and full day sessions. Half day starting at 10:00 a.m. and going until 12 noon. Full day starts at 10 a.m. and goes to 3:00 p.m. and includes a supervised lunch break. For the all day programs kids can either bring their lunch or sign up for the lunch program for six lunches for $24. Groups will be created on skiing and snowboarding skills. Enrollment is limited and minimum group size may apply. Parents need to be available to pick up their child at the conclusion of their child’s lesson. Don’t forget to sign up early and save the late registration fee.
Free Orientation Day
Come up the Bowl and find out what we’re all about. This is a great way to ease kids into a new learning situation. You’ll meet our instructors. We’ll help you decide what program is best for your kid(s), figure your rental needs, and select lunch menu items. We’re even having free mini-lessons on the rope tow for beginners and on the T-bar for intermediate-advanced skiers and snowboarders. Join us:

Six Week Programs
Little Rippers
Little Rippers is for younger skiers five to seven (four year olds will be accepted on individual basis) whether they are just beginning or have been skiing for some time. Group size is smaller to ensure a great instructor-student learning experience. There are a lot of breaks, snacks and games to support the skiing portion of the lesson, so the younger skiers can learn at a pace just right for them. For the beginners, lessons will begin on the rope tow and most students progress to ride the chair lift to ski beginner and intermediate runs later in the program. For the intermediate skiers focus will be on transiting from wedge to parallel turns with in the limits of the physical development (strength, coordination, and stamina). Black diamonds runs will be explored and fun will be a priority. Little Rippers is set up for morning only as we found that for this age group two hours is an ideal length.Team Extreme
Team Extreme is for novice to advanced skiers from ages seven and up (First timers should do the Christmas Club, Learn to Ski in 3, GSF or get approval from Snowsports Director prior to joining Team Extreme). Novices will start out on the beginner lifts, but will quickly progress to riding the chairlift and skiing upper mountain beginner and intermediate runs, more advance skiers will progress their skiing skills to learning parallel turns. Kids will stay stoked on skiing by learning new skills and new runs (even the occasional black diamond run) as they work towards becoming all-mountain skiers and developing solid parallel turns. Groups will be formed according to ability and age consideration.
Boardheads
For novice to advanced snowboarders ages eight and up (First timers should do the Christmas Club, Learn to Ski in 3, GSF or get approval from Snowsports Director prior to joining Boardheads). Learn to ride and improve your riding skills with other kids your age from some of the best riders on the mountain-our instructors. If you’re already ripping it up, there’s always something new to learn like managing steeps and crud or catching air safely. No matter what your ability is Boardheads rock! Groups will be formed according to ability and age consideration.

Christmas Club (December 27 to 29)
Get a jump on the ski season with this three-day program for kids ages 7 and up. For first timers, Christmas Club is a great way to get the basics down before starting one of our six-week programs and for those that have made some turns, a chance to sharpen their skills while having some fun during Christmas break. Christmas Club participants should register for Team Extreme or Boardheads (Little Rippers are not available during this session but lessons like Sugar Bears are).
