December 17, 2011Snowbowl bus service starts--Shuttle bus operates Saturdays, Sundays and holidays (not operating Dec 24 and Dec 25)- Pick up near the Town Pump station (base of Grant Creek) at 8:45 am and depart from Snowbowl parking lot at 4:15pm. Operated by Hellgate Transportation there is a charge of $2 one way or $3 round trip. Shuttle bus will also operate during the holidays-daily starting December 26.

Learn to Ski-Board Tuesdays: Celebrate Tuesday at the BowlTuesdays in January are days with special prices –half price lessons (group and non-requested privates), half price GSF learn to ski-ride package and free use of the beginner tow. Starting January 3th and continuing through January 31, 2012

January 7 & 8, 2012: Kids’ Six-Week Program Begin with Orientation and Registration – This will be first day of the program followed by six regular days ending in the weekend of February 18th and 19th.You will meet our instructors. We’ll help you decide what program is best for your kid(s) with free mini lessons and skiing on beginner lifts-9:30 to 11:00am both days.

January 6, 2012 For Women Only Begins- FWO was designed by women skiers for women skiers! Friday afternoons for six-weeks. Take the afternoon off, ski with your friends or make some new ones and become a better skier.

February 25 & 26, 2012: Snowbowl Cup Gelande Championship. This event features spectacular ski jumping of up to 200 feet using alpine equipment. This event attracts national media as well as jumpers from all over the U.S. $8000 cash purse. Annually, the last weekend of February.

March 1, 2012: Open 6 days a week. Snowbowl is closed on Tuesdays in March.

March 3, 2012: Girls on Shred. Event for the girls. Come up and ride with other girls for the day—organized by Edge of the World girls department, free to participate (you need a day ticket or season pass) and prizes at the of the day

March 11, 2012: Vertical Challenge. Event to see who can rack up the most vertical feet in one day. Two person team event.

March 18, 2012: Best of the Bowl. Popular end-of-the-year race to find out who the best skiers, with Alpine, Telemark and Snowboard divisions judged on speed and style down the Grizzly Chute.

March 25, 2012: North Dakota Downhill. Slide and glide contest on the North Dakota Downhill trail. Registration is free; there are lots of prizes and fun for all ages and abilities.

April 8, 2012: Last Day of Skiing. Last day of skiing for the 2010-11 season. Free Barbecue for skiers on the last day!
