Sugar Bears For Children 4-6 who have never or hardly ever skied. Snowbowl Snowsports School has an excellent children instruction staff of enthusiastic people who know how to make a kid's skiing lesson a fun, safe, educational experience. Sugar Bear class sizes are small and last only 45 minutes on snow - a great combination for young skiers to introduce them to the sport of skiing or help them become more independent skiers.

School Programs - Ski PE For several seasons Snowbowl Ski School has been excited to have most of our business come from the local and surrounding school districts. The school children in Missoula and the surrounding communities have had the fortunate option to spend the day at Snowbowl as a portion of their gym class. The students enjoy a two hour lesson in the morning and then have the rest of the day to free ski/snowboard with their classmates. It is a wonderful program that allows the student an opportunity to have fun and learn a great sport in a setting different from their everyday evironment. Due to the nature of this program groups need to be affiliated with a school from the districts in surrounding Missoula communities. The cost of the program:
$18.50 per student grades 2-12 (with or without rental equipment). Minimum of eight students. We realize that not everyone can afford to go skiing all the time so we do offer a scholarship program, please call the ski school for details. We do require chaperones to accompany the group and are happy to extend them free lift tickets (one free teacher/chaperone lift ticket for every 10 student, special discounted rat for additional chaperones).
